Few quick updates
Big City Press is pleased to announce that it will be working together with Australian Photographers Louis Porter & Jackson Eaton in 2010, in its first published monographs.
I have nominated Jorg Koopmann and Rob Hornstra for the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize 2010. The final shortlisted artists for the 2010 Deutsche Börse Photography Prize are Anna Fox, Zoe Leonard, Sophie Ristelhueber and Donovan Wylie. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at The Photographers' Gallery in London.

My Local Photography Festival - FotoFreo 2010
FOTOFREO 2010: The City of Fremantle Festival of Photography is coming up soon, and some good friends and associates will be visiting, exhibiting, and speaking on independent book publishing at the Festival. Markus Schaden, Jon Levy, Lee Grant, Amy Stein, Narelle Autio and Andy Adams . The dates are 20 March - 18 April 2010.
Melbourne in December - Designing the Book
I'll be in Melbourne in December 2009 and January 2010, working with designer Fabio Ongarato, to finalise the design of BCP's next photographic publication Hijacked - Volume 2 - Australia & Germany. I am happy to confirm that writers Katja Melzer (Ludwig Museum, Budapest), Anna Funder (UTS, Sydney), Robert Cook (Art Gallery of Western Australia) and Katrina Schwarz will be scribing textual stimulation and photographic analysis in the upcoming volume.
Hijacked - Volume 1 Video Documentary
Currently in Post-Production and Screens on the ABC Television 18th May 2010. Video director Jack Pam from Map Films and producer Matteo Bruno from Valac Films have done an incredible job, bringing this video project to fruition.
